His Lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful

over a few things, I will make thee a ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy

Lord.                                                                                                                                   Matthew 25:21.

ADVENT 2022:  Sunday, November 27 - Saturday, December 24:

The Anticipation and coming of Jesus Christ, the Messiah and King.

December 4 - 2nd SUNDAY ADVENT: Love and Peace-: "A voice of one calling: "In the

wilderness prepare the way for the Lord; make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall

become level, the rugged places a plains. And the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all

the people will see it together For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.                                                                                                                                                                                                                              Isaiah 9:2, 6-7

The one coming in righteousness, with the Spirit of the Lord upon him, will bring a mix

of peace and judgment. He will judge the poor with righteousness (Isaiah 11:4) and kill

the wicked with the breath of his lips. This peace-bringing judgment will finally end the

cycle of death begun by sin.

Our heartfelt sympathy and prayers for comfort to all that have lost loved ones, especially our church family members, and we will continue to offer up prayers for healing for those that are ill themselves, their friends and relatives at home, in hospitals and nursing homes as we are instructed to comply with social distancing during this COVID-19 pandemic. Let us ponder the Word of God found in Ephesians 6:10-20, and then pray in everything we do and say.
